I'm confused... did anyone happen to film this?

It sounds like it might have started with some accident and others jumped on that player after accidental TK which then caused others to get involved.

I totally Trust Zeus and if he TKs there is probably a good reason behind it

and yes Goons are unpleasant but there are more Fake goons out there than real ones. I'm still waiting for my 1v1 vs PPC but i guess thats never going to happen now...
