My Advice would have been: Buy Premium time, you get GXP faster and earn the CBills to buy the Modules.
I nevery converted XP to GXP and now have all Modules unlocked.
Some combinations are nice, but when i played through the Cent's now i even forget to move them.
So it's an advantage, you have to work for. When you pay for it: Good for us (PGI needs the Money for more Network Programmers) and convenient for you.
Only two Modules are realy important atm:
Std/Adv Sensors as it counters ECM
and
Std/Adv Target Decay for the same reason.
And both Modules are two stage Modules this means:
You can buy stage one for 5k GXP which easy to achieve, and the Module for 2M Cbills.
When you putt in the second 7,5k GXP all already bought Modules will be upgraded for Free and
you don't have to buy them again.
So the both most important Modules and most usefull, are the easy to achieve and get.
360 Degree is a nice to have and together with Target Decay it is realy realy nice for brawlers in
Urban environments. Buts thats it.
As i said i got all Modules and of them all i only use the three, and when i forget them i only notice it a
little but it is not a great Buff.

imo converting xp to gxp is like the silliest thing to do with your MC.
You will just accumulate gxp over time, so spend your MC on mech bays, paint, hero mechs, and above all PREMIUM TIME.
These things you can not get ANY other way.
If you have a high damage (not pinpoint alpha, you want spray here) hero mech and premium time you will have the perfect setup for maximum earning in MWO. You'll earn mechs and parts faster, and have more GXP than you know what to do with.

Adv. Zoom works perfectly. It takes a portion of your screen and enlarges it. I didn't say that the method it uses is good for what it's meant to do, or that it's worth anything at all.
Making a second view window means that your computer needs to render a second, albeit smaller, scene. This means that your computer needs to render a total of four views at once: normal, zoom 1, zoom 2, and Adv. Zoom. For whatever reason, this makes cryengine... cry. The devs are likely to put in a workaround or just make it do the fourth render, which would let you have an effective adv. zoom.
As I said: Adv. Zoom works, but it isn't very effective at making you see gundams in the distance.

I think the Cap Accelerator is probably the most "OP" of the bunch. If that's your thing.

I buy them all, on the off chance that they may be better down the road. I've got nothing else to spend the XP on anyway.

The advanced sensors reducing opposing ECM bubble range have not been implemented yet. I thought they were planned for the Feb 19 patch but couldn't find the Dev post on it.
