you mean the good ole days, when we had far more lag, broken dragon collisions, insane heat for LL, ERLL, LPL, PPC ERPPC, UACs that never jammed, less maps, less mechs, less equipment, bad economy et al?

the game is FAR better now than it ever was then (collisions, or lack therof, excepted)

Why would you make farm accounts instead of trying to drop against people at your skill level?

well if normal 8-mans continue to avoid Conquest like the plague, then you can still sync drop there.... just may take more time to get matched up

I still dont get this - and I said it in the other thread too - when where you EVER able to choose whom you drop against? When was this feature implemented? When was it removed? Did I miss something?

I remember when i had 5, 6 or 7 friends we could drop together and sometimes meet new peopel to play with regularly.

8 man groups could drop against each other pretty easily- mostly because there are so few 8 man drops going on. Now unless the 2 teams have similar Elo it will be much harder to drop against a specific opponent- which is required if you want to do the player run campaigns and tournaments.
