In my six medium laser jenner I couldn't care less about catapracts. The rear armour on them is so weak it only takes 3 shots on average to take one down.

any and all mechs are a threat.. It all depends on pilot. my spider and cent have come out on top many many times and neither one have I mastered.. not even close. I just got an awesome today after retiring my cata<just couldnt get it really going> I know thats 3 mechs that no one seems to care for, except those who love them. .

I can see the potential of the awesome, its just gonna be somewhat of a pita to learn how to use the thing.

Awesomes. Not because they're bad, but because I'm immediately filled with inconsolable rage when I see someone else piloting my 'mech. There can be only one.

Really though, probably the Cicada. Because seriously, who the **** is scared of a Cicada?

You would be scared of my Cicada, running at 127 kph, maxed out on armor, and with 4 medium pulse lasers, but for the mech im least afraid of, it would be the dragon

When I am in my Hunchback I really don't like good Dragon pilots. Nothing worse for a striker to have an enemy be able to stay on your tail, usually firing a gauss at you!

Oddly enough the Atlas. Mind you I am usually piloting one myself.

All 3 of my gauss/srm dragon variants have broken over 1000 dmg a few times. Just keep moving, and if you get beat on, circle out of sight and rejoin fight after a moment.
i only like the gaus on my flame, the others use a combination of laser/srm/ppc/mg.i dont think i have hit 1000dmg once, but 400-600dmg and a few kills and assissts are NP.

That will change. Then the only light pilots remaining will be the really good ones.

Stock mechs (trial mechs). They often overheat and have bad weapon configurations. And their pilots are often "beginners"....

The old 9M trial. More likely to blow itself up than the enemy.

I prefer lights, so really any assault mech if it's alone. Stalkers are a breeze to keep in their blind spots.

Really, though, I only fear ravens and commandos, and only when they're the Streak+ECM builds. Everything else seems like a pretty fair fight to me.

Well that depends on what you consider a good light pilot? I would be much more worried about the pilot that is out there spotting and waiting to report a weakness, while tagging targets. I am not scared of light pilots anymore mainly because so many of them run up to me, circle strafe, and expect me to miss because "they are going to fast!".

Every mech in the game is easy to hit at close range, no matter the speed or size the only problem before was netcode. Funny thing is that if they never started to use ecm and streaks, I may have never tried to find a effective counter and adapt, I find it even funnier that my counter to them was srms.

+1,000,000 to that. Hate, hate, HATE when there's one of these on my team. They waste 600 armor, do jack **** for damage, and have no viability beyond shooting LRMs from one place(where they'll soon be killed by a lone spider, I'm sure). Indeed, it's more of a fail boat than an LRM boat.

Yes. Gah. I can't stand LRM boating atlas's. If you want to play an LRM-boat assault, get a Stalker (though I still maintain Assault class LRM boats are a waste regardless)... but an Atlas? Jebus. It's a TERRIBLE choice for an LRM boat.

Get up there and ASSAULT.
