So the last week or two has shown (what seems to be) a large influx of (much needed) new blood into MWO. Following that, the usual stomp/steamroll machine was in full swing. However, it seems over the last few days most of the "New Recruits" are starting to figure things out, as I've had about 45% of my matches end up being pretty damn close.
This could be entirely coincidental but who knows.
What does it look like out there to you guys?
(Please keep it positive, didn't mean to start a noob hate thread here.)

Ignore the pessimists. I have noticed, to a degree, what you are talking about. Seems like the trial mechs and new names are playing better and better. Guess we have to wait and see how long it can last. Hopefully this is an omen of things to come and MWO will survive and thrive.

People who can't put up with the game quit, so the lowest/worst/bad players are gone.
Mediocre people are left to fill their ranks in the matchmaking, hence your game's quality improving.
