I have
510 damage
2 kills
4 assists
4 spotting assists
and 5 component destructions

how does MWO tally that into TOTAL points?

ie. what is the equation? I'm asking this as a curiosity.

Your matchscore depends almost only on your damage. Accuracy gets punished, had 5 kills, 3Cockpit-Shots, 374 "Match Score", 4th place.. Maybe they'll change it.

As it is still in the first stages match score is comprised,yes, mostly of your damage output. The ELO however is also being calculated behind the scenes as well. As I agree that accuracy gets punished with the current system, I am sure they will work out the kinks as time goes on.
