I have a pretty large collection of bricks from buying sets over the years, but if I need to buy specific parts, BrickLink is a great resource. That Marauder 2C is pretty gigantic, so I'd expect that if you bought all of the pieces individually on BrickLink, it'd most likely cost you $200-300 (if you don't have any of the pieces already, that is).

The dude on BrickMechs.com mentioned that that model is over 2500 pieces. Whenever I've placed a sizable order on Bricklink, it has averaged out to about $0.12 - $0.14 per piece. Metal God's estimate is probably pretty close, if you stick with a common color like white.

If I remember right there were larger scale lego mechs beings sold at like Toy R Us several years ago, I remember because there was a shadow cat. How I wished I bought it.

Hah, nice one. It looks almost cute in that size.

...never thought I'd say that about a Hunchback of all things.

Hmmmm time to put those Lego robot building skills back to use again ( as long as the cat doesn't chew or use the Lego as a litter box ) it'll be fun

Bumping this thread as I just found out about www.brickcommander.com tonight while surfing. Downloaded a few of the lego files to check them out, very cool! Was seriously considering trying to build the Marauder until I saw the cost estimate on the parts above.

edit: fixed link

A little while ago I made and posted a mech with parts inspired by different MWO mechs, like the Quickdraw and Trebuchet

Yes, you can buy parts separate, Lego.shop.com/en-US/Pick-A-Brick-ByTheme
