Does Elo Balance Mech Weight At All?

I'm getting some really weird matches with this new match maker. The last game I played the enemy team had a Pretty Baby and the biggest mech we had were heavies. I also had a game today where my team was composed of various mediums with a heavy or two and the whole enemy team was lights and ECM lights with one stalker. What gives?
