SRM 6 Matches:13 Fired:1,710 Hit: 705 Accuracy 41.23% Time used 01:04:31 total damage: 1,617
This was my SRM stats last night,

This may account for the lack of damage everyone is seeing in them? I'm usually 150-200m away , Is this the expect miss for a volley of 5 srm 6's? Though there are lots of times I'm far closer and still not doing damage.

Post your weapon stats, maybe we'll see a trend?

I think whats happening is the game is calculating each individual missile instead of each volley. If any of the missiles in a volley [lets say SRM6] miss, you get a reduction in accuracy. Of course its absurd to expect that every pellet of a shotgun [so to speak] will hit; I think a more accurate way to calculate the statistic would be per volley. this may explain the data you [and I] have observed.

Over half of the salvos from my 6 SRM4s+Artemis pass through a target or explode on the target without doing damage, in both cases this counts as a miss. I've noticed that I can drill assault mechs at near point blank range with 3-4 salvos of 24 SRM4s, and do only 30 damage. In the testing grounds I can kill any light or medium mech with a single alpha strike. In a game I can hit a commando or a cicada with 200 SRMs and no damage registers on their paper doll, even though the missiles clearly hit them.

Here's the stats for the weapons:
SRM 4 ; Matches: 8; Fired: 1,980; Hit: 860; Accuracy: 43.43%; Time used: 00:45:39;
Total Damage: 1,768

And the stats for the mech I was using:
CATAPULT CPLT-A1 ; Matches: 8; Wins: 3; Losses: 5; WLR: 0.60; Kills: 8; Deaths: 5; KDR: 1.60; Damage Dealt: 1,779

If all of the missiles that had hit their targets had actually been recorded as hits, the accuracy would be closer to 90% and I would have had 15 kills and no deaths.

see a trand

I see a trand to use 6xSRM6 build (often CTPL-A1) couse this build have highest Damage/(Tonn*Heat)...
250 max dmg per tonn of ammo (AC have ~150 mdpt).
And 90 max dmg per ~28 heat (or smth), only maximum range and rockets speed gives a chance of competition to other mechs.
I thik this is looks little wrong or smth. ER PPC AWS or STK in close combat looks tooo~ weak agains 6xSRM6.

I'm at ~60% accuracy with 3xSRM6+Artemis. My ping is normally ~20-40, and I usually fire at targets 0-200m away. (Because the new flightpath is FREAKING AMAZING.)

hmm.. I'm not using Artemis and I'm in the same boat as Aratan, I will try to stagger my fire and see if it works any different.

my ping is generally 15-20ms.
