Random is bad. Skill is good. Sigh... same story.. different smelling poopoo

Let us aim with streaks so that when we fire it hits the area we have the crosshairs on.. otherwise let it be random..

Gesus...

Facepalm.. another RNG issue.

use srm's if you want to aim.

The random hit location is fine, the damage is not. theres a reason they weigh 50% more than srm launchers, they should be dealing the same damage.

I do agree. After the addition of the random hit location, damage does need to come back up to 2.0.

But, is this a good time to do in the face of the up coming SSRM/4 and SSRM/6 for Clans in 6 months or whatever?

I already suggested in a previous post. If people want to re-focus damage with SSRM. PGI should try making use of NARC and TAG for that purpose. Using dynamic tracking NARC should out right turn which ever compartment they hit become 100% tracked for all missiles. TAG can act light real laser paint, +10% shift of track to which ever compartment you are target for ever 1 second you paint it temporarily.

This way SSRMs (and other missiles) become a non-noob weapon if you want to use it very effectively.
