Of course they are. And when the EU servers come out those will cater EU players. Really are there any EU players who don't know they are playing in a US (or north america) open beta. At least I knew full well when I bought the founders package that there would be disadvantages from playing from the other side of the ocean (just as I expect them to move me to a EU server when it opens, sucks that so many player groups will be divided at that time but it was always to be expected; bet that's one of the reasons there's no way to organize player groups (clans, companies, corporations, guilds, whatever they'll be named) in game)

Well in my case I decided to use the time to make some bangers and mash, and am now eating it while waiting patiently. That last bit probably has me in some oddball minority...
