that if something as basic as server maintenance fails over 10% of the time you are doing it wrong?
Not that I run a server farm that runs a game with a few thousand people on it and forums filled with rage-o-holics, but....
I do run multiple servers for a dispatching system and a website server, web booking server, mobile application server, Domain controller, a PCI compliant database server and more.
If my system failed as often as yours on the basic maintenance stuff we would consider that a problem.
TLDR ... I do not know what you are doing but I do know that you are in fact doing it wrong.

It is simply impossible to know that they did anything right or wrong. We don't have enough information. This is also software development which is a completely different animal.

You do it then. Shut it and stop posting these pointless topics. They do not create a solution and they do not help the problem okay?
PGI when can we have a dislike button???

Look my stuff is not as big as theirs. It has its complications. I do have professional relationships with those who run bigger stuff. I do know even if this once this downtime was unavoidable the number of times they have gone way long on maintenance is well above acceptable levels.
When Development environments match production environments as much as possible and you have competent developers this kind of thing happens but it is much rarer.
