When does the bug appear?
When I loose my locked on target shortly before my LRMs fire.
What happens?
It's hard to track since everything happens barely inside / just outside the cockpit view and you usually see nothing (especially no LRMs starting from your misslepods) or just a rain of not-exploded LRMs showering down from somewhere.
I've got 2 theories about what happens...
Theory 1:
The LRMS start with a 90° angle to my torso. So basically they are starting / try to start through the sides of the misslepods and head off to a better place in space.
Theory 2:
Another theory I came up with is that the protective caps of the misslepods don't open and "stop" all LRMs inside their tubes. Afterwards they simply "break" through the misslepod during the "this-freaking-LRM-hit-something-below-180m" animation.
Conclusion:
It's pretty annoying if you try to shoot an enemy in front of you and you pierce yourself / the wall next to you (which appears to have happend at least once) with nonexploding LRMs that... well... could have severely hurt / killed the enemy...
The faster this bug is fixed, the better.
