No they are not, they just take skill to keep on target.

lights have never taken full damage, reason why is useally you dont get a full on shot , since there is so small most of the time the damage gets spread out over the mech

I've had shutdown 3L's eat 2-3 alphas (4 ML or better) at close range to Rear CT and run away barely orange if that..

even just 4 ML's should core out the rear CT of a 3L in 2 alphas to a non moving target at the same single location. 3 would be overkill.. swap in a large laser and boggle at the fact that he could walk away from 2 strikes. and even the 3 shot as he starts to get moving doesnt finish him..

Sorry to say but on them thier rear armor is buggy..

mmm, you know I had a 3L shut down in front of me (already damaged) and popped three alphas straight in to him.

Bear in mind that's 2 x ERPPCs an 1 x Gause.

I have not done the maths or anything, but he walked away from it and I thought - that's just not right, how can that little dude take all that.
