Ok, I know this subject has been raised more then once but after today. it's really starting to bug the hell out of me.

One numerous occasions I've had the Matchmaker drop me into a match were one side or the other has been left 'short' and I can't understand why this is happening. If the program is finding itself unbalanced why not just kick the last player who came in and level it out.

Second peeve and the one that really inspired this. I suggest changing the criteria for the Matchmaker to that of Tonnage rather then class. The reason for this is that in the past several days I have repeated gone into a match in an Awesome and found myself teamed with either other Awesomes and/or Stalkers and as soon as we round the corner, the opposition has a bag of Atlases.

Where's the problem you say? Simple, the Atlas is the single most powerful unit in the game, even a new player can sow holy havoc with it and in order to bring it down, you need at least two other mechs. Don't believe me, check the game logs I guarantee you they will show a far higher proportion of wins were a team has an 'Atlas Advantage'.

Suggestion: Change the Matchmaker to drop teams by weight with a 10-20 ton margin of error on the total to help it assemble matches fast, granted it won't be perfect but I'd put money on it being more even then what's happening now.
