I was doing pug drops with a friend today, and we both had ECM Ravens. We were playing in Forest Colony so we went to the water. The other team went shoreline, so we went to their base and started capping. Their scouts came back and we made short work of them. We then went back towards the boat, killing two more mechs along the way. Heavy, assault. It didn't matter. They wilted before us.. When the match was over, we both had over 600 damage and all of the kills. This is the power of teamwork. You should try it sometime. :(

The key part is that they did this in 3L's. Chimpanzees given a 3L will leave a match with at least one kill.

But in any case, OP is correct that just riding with 1 buddy vastly increases your win rate.

We could have done the same in any mechs. When you have two people who know how to work together, the results are inevitable. Especially against a pug team.

Ummm. OP was 2-man premades are OP so you have failed?

2-man premades are solid regardless of what your are driving. The 3Ls just add insult to injury.

That match was awesome, granted I stole some of Grugore's kills, 7 kills and 1 assist. Teamwork is key!

They already did nerf teamwork by not including in game voice chat. They need to buff teamwork with in game voice chat and we're golden.

  • ECM being amazing
  • Lagshields making fast lights impossible to hit without lock-on weapons
  • See #1

i have never had an issue with lag shields despite averaging from 40 fps on a good match to .3 fps on a bad one (yes that is point 3 fps, it twas a bad day indeed...)

I can normally hit lights with missiles, lasers, even the occasional AC 20. I fail to see the problem.

i run a dual ac/20 light killer just because i only have to hit the light mech once. and once is usually all i need. (commando + ac/20 = something seems to be no longer here...)

Well, you ragequit and are only now back, so it may have slipped your notice.
Lagshield was significantly reduced recently, to the point where with my 90ping I can shoot the legs off of light mechs with lasers by aiming at their legs, rather than leading.

Awwww, One Medic... I was gonna wait to see how long it took for someone to ask if he'd bothered trying yet. Since he was complaining about camo earlier I am pretty sure he has no idea what patches have happened. I'm waiting to see if he'll start an ECM thread or comment in one next...

Well, let's be fair, the netcode is better but still not perfect. Lots of ravens still seem semi-bulletproof.

Not a fan of the hunchys, and those flames were doing it wrong, neither of them had PPC's :(
Jokes aside, i think we had a small premade, because all 4 liao are goons.

I know you haven't been around in a while, but lights are MUCH easier to hit now.
