I know, I know. It will be a while before the Jagermech is released. But, It's a mech I love. And I can't wait to play it since I'm a complete ballistic fanboy.
Some details:
The mech is 65 tons so I used only that amount to build it. The Cataphract-4x has four ballistic hardpoints making it perfect for the build in my head which was based around the JM6-s. Yes I'm using an XL engine but that's because this mech is thin, less likely to take a hit in the sides.

Would This Make A Great Jagermech Loadout?

Use endo and put some more stuff in it.

Better off with AC2s. AC5's put out roughly half the damage per second of all the other autocannons. Not particularly intimidating to look at, but 4xAC2 is still 8 damage every half second, 16 damage per second. In the time it takes an AC5 to shoot twice, you will about double the damage output. Kinda scary, actually. Of course, that is assuming you keep hitting the same spot on the target.

Added endo steel, DHS, AMS, and two medium lasers (which would actually be in the side torsos).

Hmm. Might get more DPS out of it with 2x Ultra AC5's and 2 AC2's. More micromanagement though, and Ammo could be an issue. Actually, ammo might be an issue in your build too. One ton per AC5 seems a bit light. If you can make them count I guess it's fine, but I personally would lean on the safe side and try for 5 or 6 tons ammo minimum.
In the second build you show, remember the Endo on the 70 chassis is saving you 3.5 tons, versus the 3 tons you'd get in the 65 ton Jagermech.

I have one build hidden away with 3 UAC5s and 100 shots per gun. Didn't need endo or fero either. It only goes 42 KPH though.
