Is it going to be Spreadsheet Simulator like EVE, just a basic choice that adds a clantag (like Modern Warfare), or something inbetween?

For MWO they are called 'Mercenary Corporations', and people will be able to form a merc group instead of joining a House.
Exactly how Merc Corps will be managed is not yet known.

House warfare is probably going to alot like faction warfare in eve. You join a nation's standing army, and slowly work your way up the ranks, earning rewards like special ammo and stuff like that. Mercs will have a territory control system where they can claim a homeworld and contract themselves out to the houses for resources.

Just don't say clans... it to confusing, just stick with merc corporations... if you had looked into merc corps at all you would know at least they were called merc corps.
