Or is this more of a bug that it doesn't already do this.

I'm not sure if this is suppose to work like this, but I would like to see the DoF work the way the human eye does, or an autofocus camera.


Specifically, what you are aiming / looking at should come into focus. Right now, it's difficult to get those far shots, when the "camera" insists keeping those nearer hills in focus instead, even though you aren't aiming at them.

I will amend this could happen only when zoomed in, as it's pretty obvious you're shooting at something you're looking at when zoomed in.
