So if someone could explain this to me, maybe i just don't get it or maybe its a bug

If i fire 1 er ppc on my mech on frozen city my heat goes from zero to 10. yet if I fire 2 my heat reaches 30... somehow that just doesn't seem to add up. am I going crazy? tested it several times. coudn't figure it out

I wouldn't operate correct numbers, just easy example.
You have weapon with X% of heat per shot, and have heat dissipation system, which applies Y% of heat decrease (heat buffer) to each shot plus heat diss overtime.
So, there is simple math:
X-Y=10%
2X-Y=30%.
With this, X=20% (increase per each weapon installed), Y=10% (heat buffer).

So, with this I would expect 50% of heat if you wear 3 PPCs for example.

Ambient temp on frozen city is in the negatives so i guess you could be starting below zero so its really adding 20 on the first but it starts at -10 or something.

It's the heat dispersion. One is easier for your heatsinks to handle (thus, it takes longer especially on Frozen to go above '0') so if you fire two, it's taking longer to reduce the heat. Does that make sense?
