Damn good point I forgot all about those jerks. I can say my stats are the real deal because I never Alt-F4ed to "save" my stats. The guys who did that are a$$hats in my opinion as well as the a$$hats who do it now to rob players of the "kill".

Closed beta stats were wiped when we hit open beta. I have multiple people who measure up to my gametime.
Thus, you had a lot of people starting Open Beta already being very experienced at the game with hundreds if not thousands of matches under their belts.
Then newer Open Beta folks compared their scores and see woefully lower numbers... but consider that the guy with 400 matches is going to have a huge deficit to dig out of from the time he's learning how to play reasonably well.
Nothing against closed beta folks- they earned their skill through practice. But newer players will see an aggregate of their full playing experience, and as such their numbers will be less reflective of their current skill levels than closed beta players.

It would be nice if they could keep track of assists, damage done, maybe avg damage done per match., avg assists. that sort of info would provide a more rounded statistical account of performance.
92 / 156 Kills / Death
145 / 170 Wins / Losses
0.59Kill / Death Ratio
548,488 C-Bills
102,052 XP
96,725.72 Accumulative C-Bills Per Match
323.97 Avg. XP Per Match

K/D = 1.32:1
100% pugging solo, no VOIP.
Started playing at onset of open beta and K/D has been steadily going up from a very poor start. Probably just under 2:1 in recent matches.
I've noticed I can do much better if I use SRM-o-pults or ECM DDCs, but I prefer Awesomes and Dragons. Must be a *********. My ratio took a step up when the 4-man premade limit came in and again with the recent netcode fix that reduced the lagshield exploits of ECM streak chickens.
Things that hold my ratio down include the fact that my favourite mechs are all a bit useless on the battlefield and that I usually set myself the task of taking out the assaults on the other team rather than LRM'ing a couple of Commandos to death.
EDIT - so m@sochist is censored. Not like twatwaffle, then.

This is exactly where I was going with my earlier post. If you started after Open Beta started, you've got a huge lump of kill-less losses/low XP earning matches that will weight your stats down. You'll see these people's stats shoot way the hell up after the stats are wiped.
Of course, new players started after the stat wipe will be in exactly the same situation that we open beta folks are in now - worse, probably, because I suspect they'll expose a much wider array of stats then.

A lot of us also suffered from eternal goldvision, eternal shutdown, black screen of death, frozen sound, water and no textures anywhere, desynchs, swallowed whole by water features...
I'd attribute at most 25% to malice.

0.65 - W/L Ratio
99.9% PUG and 99.9% Dragons
I'm definitely seeing a discrepancy between PUG and Premade players.
I think chassis has a lot to do with it, along with the Lag-Shielded era.

757 / 274 = 2.76 W/L
Mostly random groups on Teamspeak NA server, piloting primarily Hunchbacks, Cicadas and Stalkers.

4.67:1 ratio
1693/752 W/L
158,683.79 Avg. C-Bills per match
929.17 Avg. XP per match
With: Atlases, Stalkers, Cataphracts, Catapults, Dragons, Hunchbacks, Ravens, and a little Jenner time.

No I'm talking about the guys who were fighting then started loseing THEN AND ONLY THEN do they quit. Like to guy I played last night he got 2 kills then my team turned it around killed 3 on his team found him and while getting pounded by 3 mechs quit. Or the guy last week who couldn't handle a lone Raven I was piloting, running circles around him so he quit. Those a$$hats not the poor men and women forced to deal with bad codeing like we all have done.
