Hi all,
Is it know what the decay is for weapon damage above it's range out to it's MAX. range?
Example, a Medium Lasers range is 270m, it's max range is 540m.
Is it scaled down -10% damage for every 27 meters past 270?
Anyone know the decay rate for damage?

Decay to 0 is twice the effective range for energy weapons, and thrice the effective range for ballistics. The drop is linear based on distance. Every 54 meters for a medium laser past its effective range it will have lost 1 damage total (54*5 = 270, or rather, 270/5 = 54).
The general form for finding damage drop off for a weapon is ((max range - effective range)/damage), for which you can then easily calculate what damage your weapon will do at specific ranges.
For instance, the Ac/20 has a max range of 810 (270 * 3), which makes it drop off 27 per meter (810-270/20). That means it will deal 10 damage at 540 meters.
