[Mechteric]

I was trying to see what kind of loadouts we can get trying to emulate the Clan mech variants on Inner Sphere mechs!

For the integrity and sanity of people who get their panties in a bunch about usage of different names for Clan mechs (e.g. MadCat <-> Timberwolf) lets just use the Inner Sphere names for these since they are Inner Sphere mechs we're putting them on after all.



Stalker - MadCat
2 ER Large
2 Medium Laser
2 Medium Pulse Laser
2 LRM20

Notes: So there's no Machine guns, you won't miss em. Also top speed of almost 60kph instead of 75kph. Oh well. I guess you'll have more armor than a MadCat at least!

Cataphract - Thor

Notes: No jump jets since the only CTF variant with enough missiles is the 2X. At least it gets to go 86.6kph just like the Summoner!

Hunchback - Ryoken

Notes: Except for weapon placement and possibly double heat sink count, this is pretty close!

Note ++: You can get close to this on a HBK-4SP if you worry about the right torso Hunch vulnerability with XL, only problem is you end up with 1 fewer DHS and 0.44 tons you can't use for anything since crits are all taken up and max armor already!



Raven - Uller
1 ER Large
1 AC5
1 SRM4
1 Small Laser

Notes: Pretty close here too, except LB 5-X and SSRM4 doesn't exist so went with something close. Also couldn't get room for the small pulse without sacrificing too much armor so went down to a regular small laser. I guess you could replace with SSRM2 and then upgrade to Small Pulse...

I haven't actually tried these out myself, though I imagine the MadCat and Ryoken variants will be somewhat potent. The Thor variant will be mediocre, and the Uller variant will most likely be pretty terrible.

Notes: Unfortunately couldn't fit 2 SRM6 and SSRM6 doesn't exist, but otherwise its close in armament and speed.

Notes: Its a good bit faster than a Puma normally is, but that's because its needed in MWO. If you really wanted to I guess you could lower the engine to match the clan stock speed of 97kph and get some extra double heat sinks in.

Is this a group thing? I liked linebackers from the TCG, so I made one!

Catapult - Linebacker A
2x ER Large Lasers
2x "ER" Medium Lasers
1x LRM 15
1x LRM 5

Notes: It's slower and more vulnerable. The linebacker hits 97.2kph with a clan XL. I dropped the highest XL possible into the chassis, but you'll be about 10-14kph slower than you should be and suffer the inadequacy that is the IS XL engine. There's also no such thing as ER Medium Lasers yet, so they're plain.
