Playing on my HBK-4H (yes I know that's hilarious) and was shot in the back of the hunch, not sure by what. It was instant red internals, with 0 damage to my back armor. 0 as in it was still green, not even 1 point of damage which would turn it yellow. I'm pretty sure there's a chance to penetrate armor and damage internals in this game, although with the various patches I don't know what is/isn't in the game anymore. Even if there still is this chance of armor pen, can you really get red internals from through armor without a single point of damage to the armor? Go ahead and say "don't turn your back to anywhere there could be enemies" or "lawls 4H" if you want, but is there anyone who knows how this would happen?

I haven't seen this, but is it possible you cooked off some ammo? Was all armor intact front?



Like if I get a leg blown off with ammo in the leg, I think that might cause direct internal damage to whatever side torso leg is attached to.

If armor on both front and back was not breached and you didn't cook off ammo in that location, then it looks like a bug.

That's a good point, but I am not certain if that would cause internal damage or destroy torso armor first.

Had similar thing today, was piloting my Gauss cat, all armor was green(gray) then enemy Centurion shot me with 1 LL and my CT internals went red all over the place without any damage to armor whatsoever.

I've seen most alike thing myself today. Correctly to say - I did this
So, we were in allout brawl, hunting each other, and apparently I run into back of a hunchy (can't say which one variant, I was in JR7-K). He was all bright-yellow armored, somewhat 90%+, not even one part was stripped of armor. I did one alpha to him (1ML+2MPL) for not longer than 0.5s - you know, speed is life for light, so no time for precise aiming. Hit and run, that's it.
So, with this alpha all about 10-12 pts max he was oneshotted by me I'm pretty sure it was ammo explosion, other that this couldn't be explained

Getting critical hits while there's still armor left on the back torsos happens quite often on my Stalker.
Followed by an awesome glare bug which renders me completely blind for the rest of the battle.
