BTW, don't buy into the FUD about Metro. It's just a fullscreen start menu. Once customized it works great. The only thing wrong with Windows 8 is that the cool kids on the internet decided it's different and therefore sucks. (Not trying to start a pro/anti flamewar here.)

Ive used both and removed them as I prefer the metro start screen

If you have W7, stick with it as there would only be a very minor difference. If Vista (shudders)...I would then
