For those that do not have the 3 variant requirements needed to master them. There are a lot many of us want to see, but because of that restriction we're not going to. So my suggestion is this:

Bring in Mech Packs where you have to buy a group of different mechs (5-7 as an example) and use them as a group Mech Upgrade system we have now. You have to basic all those mechs (5 as an example) then Elite 3 before the Master Upgrade will open on 2 of them. in order to Master more of the set you have to Elite more of them.

Yes I understand buying 5 mechs would be costly. But you're buying all of them at once.
