If Mw:o Mercs Really "loved" Me, They'd Offer The Cn9-Ah Again, Instead Of Leaving Us Playing With Our Wangs.

Many who came in since OB started probably have no clue what the fuss is about, but one of the canon Variants, the Centurion-AH used to be available, but was ignominiously discarded to the refuse pile upon the launch of the Yen-Lo-Wang.

Mind you, I am one of the MANY Medium Mech pilots on here that enjoys getting in a little action, getting our Wangs into sticky situations. But most of us Medium Pilots, I believe, are still saddened by the loss of the lovely little Centy that Could, the AH. AC/20 right arms. Multiple Missile Hardpoints in the left torso. Doesn't sound like much, but it was oh so fun to drive.

Please PGI, if you wanna REALLY be my Valentine, Bring back the AH.

Gonna actually agree with you on this one. The -AH was every bit as unique as the YLW.

I'll be honest, I despised the -AH back in closed beta. I hated the lack of energy hardpoints. But now, yeah, an AC20 and some SRMs sound a lot more fun.

And if the LB 10-X ever gets some love, running around and shotgunning things definitely sounds good to me.

I have often before posted tearful reminiscences of my CN9-AH, The "Brutus," backstabber extraordinare. I shall add my voice here as I continue my silent mourning.

Seriously though, "Brutus" was deadly. Love my YLW, but it's a totally different 'mech. Really hope the AH comes back.

To be fair, you can already run around and shotgun things with pretty much all the other Cents sans the AL.

Funny, I named mine "JuliusCaesar" with an LBX10 and and 2 SRM6... you might have killed me a few times, ( I was those beta testers who got in due to a mailing malfunction)

Well, one of my complaints also has always been that there was no reason to REMOVE a variant that they already had. I still think they did it specifically because they knew few people would buy a YLW if the AH was available for free.

And just to go all conspiracy theory and PC... isn't the initials "YLW" on an Asian themed mech driven by an Asian Mechwarrior, kinda............. yeah... stopping there.

This isn't the first time people have asked for the AH back, what gives you all the impression PGI will in fact return it?

Yeah, that's true. I mentioned it more because I ran it that way a few times. Was rather fun, too. (I didn't put enough ammo in it, though :) )

In a game starved for content it doesnt make sense to get rid of working playable content to promote your own financial gains

This was the most unkindest cut of all;
For when the noble Caesar saw him stab,
Ingratitude, more strong than traitors' AC/20s,
Quite vanquish'd him: then burst his mighty engine
And he ejected o'er the battlefield...

I liked the variant too. Hopefully they will reconsider. I figure as long as someone mentions it every now and then respectfully. Who knows.
