Each side torso is going to hold 3 crits, the CT will only need 6 crits.

Most people tend to avoid XL engines on heavier mechs, since their CTs are quite easy to target and it's quite likely that it will cause your death.

If you haven't already, you may want to search the forums or create your own topic concerning the wisdom behind putting an XL engine in a Stalker. I don't pilot Stalkers myself, but due to the large side torso sections many would tell you not to put in an XL. Something you should look into if you haven’t' already. I'd hate for you to shell out millions in cbills only to find out the negative side effects after the fact.

Agreed...Stalkers with XL engines probably is not a great idea. My Awesome 5M has one and while I love the speed and extra weight for other gear, it is a glass cannon. Assault 'Mechs which cannot go above 53+ kph, probably should go with the standard engine for suvivability.

Good hunting!

XL engines require 6 slots in the CT, plus 3 in the RT and 3 in the LT.

I recommend a standard 300 for most Stalker builds, or 250-280 if you're strictly long-range-support. Friends don't let friends use XL engine Stalkers.
