Thanks for the responses guys, especially those with technical know-how.

I guess I will say this then, pleaes buy more hero mechs so we can grow the beoch.

Why do I care? Well I want bigger matches, I think it would dissolve the 4 man domination issue greatly. However, I want the 1v1s too. Mr. Mallon will pay for insulting pie!

They did say they would expand further if it is possible but 12v12 is only work in progress and current goal

Star Citizen is also going to be much higher fidelity, so that's not necessarily true. It's also not slated to release until November 2014 so that gives it a pretty big advantage.
