Get rid of the XP reward and 25,000C-Bill reward for winning or losing.

Add multiplyer to the other rewards for contribution in the case of a win. Alternativly, slightly increase the rewards for contribution.

With no XP and C-Bill reward for doing nothing. You give DC and AFK farmers no reason to farm with that method. Also, it would not punish someone that DCs for a ligitimate reason.

Biggest part: If you contribute nothing, you get no reward.

Although I would love to see my efforts translate into cash a little bit more obviously, there should always be an incentive for winning IMO

Removing a win incentive doesn't help the situation. All that does is encourage suicidal gameplay in order to score a couple of points before you die.

To both. You get heavly rewarded when you win already, just by geing able to contribute more.

he has listed a win reward. it would be a multiplier on your other bonuses.

Yeah a multiplier instead of a flat gain could be pretty sweet.

Only argument i can see coming back at it is " wah my support mech blah blah blah i contribute blah blah blah"

The reason I came up with this idea in the first place was because I don't like the "Everyone gets a trophy" mentality.

Why, do people play backyard sports? The fun of playing the game. If you win, you get the thrill of winning and you get bragging rights. No one gets a trophy in backyard sports. They play just because they enjoy the game.

That can be fixed with adjustments to that reward.

I like the idea, get a loss in a match and you get c-bills and xp based on your match points. Win the match and you get c-bills and xp based on 3X your match points. Sounds fair and rewarding to me. Definitive reason to win the match but also to do well and not afk or dc. got 0 pts in a match and you won? too bad it's still 0 points.

It would mean the game would lean even further towards Assault Brawlfest. As in, everyone would play whatever dealt the most damage and nothing else.

not so much anymore. they are giving out a lot more points for spotting and assists now so a system like this could work well.

id wait a few weeks till after Elo comes in to even consider changinf rewards. i know in 8v8s my team very rarely has 1 player that does significantly better then the rest. with the elo system we should really see contibution normalization except maybe at the entry lvls where people who know how to play make new accounts.

I'm in no rush to see any changes in the reward system. I have a great deal of faith in Elo. I was just struck with the idea to take the idea even farther. It wouldn't bother me if it didn't change.

The idea of curbing abusers of the current system is good, but -

Some matches will net a lot of people no reward-

Scouts, I've been in matches where people do not press 'R' to acknowledge your target, if you can even do so if there are ECMs on the field.

Rushing capture - I have a mech that moves at 34 KPH, in the event the enemy is rushing the other side of the map you are, the speed and no visual will net no reward.

Abusers can hurt others more than ever, imagine a troll squad of 4 extremely fast mechs with a capture module each. They rush cap and effectively help burn down time so not everyone gets credit.
