Ive noticed that I am a lot less angry at PGI at any given point.
Right when the open beta hit (a week after I started) PGI was not answering our complaints and there were many fun-killing bugs (Remember when LRMs would turn 90 degrees overhead and rain down; no ECM back then either.) But now-a-days, well, people still QQ all day long but I can tell you that they have gotten MUCH better. The interaction and information we get through the Command chair (though, its bin a bit long since and update Garth) really helps me to feel like they are paying attention to their beta testers.
Also, most of the bugs these days are quite easy to play around. No more yellow screen, Lights are easier to hit with ballisitcs, I can handle the impulse and smoke effects.
In my honest opinion, and counter to the popular sentiment on this forum, I believe this is shaping up to be a very good game, roller coaster considered. Looking forward to more modules, maps, and mechs!

i've got to admit, they have fixed a large number of really annoying bugs.( which is pretty sweet)
I just wish they were better at actually understanding the game they have built though (in terms of balance)
it's rather baffling the decisions being made to do with balancing weapon systems.
