It seems as if it is assumed that mechs always shoot with their arms locked in a 90 degree angle when the actuators should actually allow the mech to extend its arm straight out and fire.
The trajectory on arm weapons is exceptionally bad -- even with mechs that have all of the arm actuators. It's as if they are always firing from the hip and it shouldn't be that way.
Mechs with few actuators perform much better (Jenner for example). Those with all actuators: Centurion, Dragon, Atlas, etc. just seem ... off? When aiming down (from high ground) arm mounted weapons tend to shoot the ground in front of the mech.
Is this working as intended?
Thanks.
