(sorry i'm trying to stop cussing so much)
No weapons...no armor...who will win? (sorry it gets loud toward the end)
Hug the Dragon:

ALSO: should I be putting these things on Youtube instead? Does it even matter? Let me know because it's just one button push to put it over there.

Youtube is for when you want to reach a bigger audience (I guess) and for uploading in a better quality. I like to watch in 720p minimum when I can.
But for your average video, I guess any kind of upload will do. Watching the video now...
PS: But, gotta admit, the feature to "undock" the video and play it in a seperate window (with free scale) is a nice thing. Something I'd like for youtube.

I don't care if it is YouTube, Twitch or Vimeo, but people needs to stop filming thenselves while playing, it's awful.

Purple: it's live...so that's why I do it. To me it's much more interesting to watch live play if you can also see the player. Honestly when I am just browsing through twitch to watch something...if it doesn't have a webcam then I don't click unless it's a "brand-name" gamer that I REALLY recognize. But beyond that I'm more interested in just showing good games.
If I move the highlight videos to youtube, then I can just cover the webcam with a youtube chat bubble. The 2nd option is that I could run fraps while I stream...then when something cool happens I can just use the fraps video for my VOD instead of the twitch video. This would get rid of the cam but would probably kill my poor i5 to stream and record fraps video.
So IDK what is best. IMO best for LIVE is always webcam on...if I have to cover it with a youtube chat bubble for non-live VODs then I think I will do that.

You must be the first person to care about stuff like this
I don't actually think that's true because I just looked at the top 40 most viewed CURRENTLY live streams on twitch.
1 was some gaming industry event in another language...
4 were tournaments
1 was a podcast
So the rest were individual players streaming which means 34 of the top 40 streams=players. So I checked how many of them are using webcam: 28 webcam out of 34.
Or to put it another way: only 6 streams in the current top of twitch had their webcam turned off. The number of viewers on any of the individual streams ranged from 259 to 14,656
Again, I like to see the player live reaction to things or maybe something's backwards here. I think I can also see how the non-live video on demand would be weird with a webcam.
Yesterday I spilled water on my keyboard and bent the mini USB plug and I was able to show how bad it was to the live chat room. You don't get that kind of interaction without a webcam so IDK. Maybe I can make my webcam smaller so it's not in the way but my team mates don't want to get stream sniped so we will still have to cover up the mini map.
Next time something cool happens I think I will put it on youtube with the cam covered but if you see me live on twitch it will have the camera. Thanks for the feedback.
