OK. So I had to get a new hard drive.
I get my computer up and running. OS is patched, anti-virus installed. Lets downlo0ad Mechwarrior Online.
Launcher downloads and installs fine, let the patching begin and begin it does.
Have slow internet connection so I download, turn off monitor and sit and watch TV while it goes on for hours. Commercial break, go turn on monitor to check progress. Hmm, download stalled?

Restart download and it starts from the very beginning again?!? Really?
In 2013 you guys can't set the patcher up to resume from where it left off?

The problem I seem to be having is with the download. All power saving modes are set to "Never" so the computer isn't going to sleep or power conservation mode.

I turn off the monitor and the data light on my wireless adapter continues to blink like it's passing traffic. When I turn my monitor back on the light stops blinking for about 30 seconds then resumes. I look at my download and it was running because theres a lot more data there but it stalled and never restarts. I can't figure out why it keeps stalling as my internet connection is still up.
