Lately since Tuesday (maybe even the patch prior) I have noticed that sometimes during a battle, they just won't fire OR they have a huge delay before they fire causing me to miss my target. This happens on mechs without bay doors and with mechs with bay doors that are verified to be open.

What gives?

Sounds like you need to get a new batch of oompa loompas to hit the back of the SRM's faster. I did mine just last week, most of em were caught up in their own beards they were so old. Poor things.

Needless to say, my SRM's fire almost instantly now.

Not really noticed that... Though I did have a couple of matches last night where my flaps would only toggle open after a second key press...

Be sure to open your missile doors at the start of a match. Otherwise, there is a delay while the doors open before firing.

i noticed this and reported it in patch feedback section; make sure you let them know, because i have experienced this recently as well, even though it did get better for a little while

Yeah, i have open the doors and they still have a delay as if i have them closed.
Its not every battle but so often you get painfully aware of it.

I get the same problem with my CN9-A, with and without ARTEMIS upgrade. With 3 SRM 6. It takes like a second from the trigger mouse fire to the game fire.

I'll try to upload a video in a few hours.

I've had this problem once, but it affected both lasers and srm's. I fully expected to find I had a 5000ms ping time but when I looked it was at 320ms (sadly normal).
