My thought was to add a level of risk vs. reward. Go for the glory or hold onto what you've got. Perhaps they could boost both C-bill's and xp gained per match by 12.5%. If you lost and died, you keep all of the money but loose 25% xp. If you lost but ejected you keep all of your xp but loose 25% of your money for fleeing combat. Same thing if you win. This way it balances out not effecting the net progress of a MechWarrior yet adding personal flavor to the game.

Well as I said, I believe the idea has merit, and would be best used alongside the eventual forthcoming Community Warfare.

Oh sorry, I liked R&R, it made the game more fun. You actually had to think about what you were doing.

Never taking an LRM stalker, because the ammo alone on it would be more than the takings on a win, is a choice?

No one paid ammo on an LRM boat, you killed rearm and just ran with 75% ammo.

Quite possible, but the concept can always be tweaked. That's the joy of this not being a thing yet, we can hash out ways it could be abused, and consider countermeasures.

Yeah, okay. Let's go with that.

Let's pretend the game wasn't about three of your dudes dropping in broken mechs, and rushing the other side to die as quickly as possible. Let's pretend every other mech wasn't a jenner.

Reactor explosions were never a TT rule.

umph yes you are right! Sorry! I take back what I wrote... perhaps that was only a self invented rule of my TT group or I mixed it up with the ammo explosion... But I was so sure that I can remember a scene from a BT title where you eject just to have the best view on your exploding mech deep under your feet.

I was in a medium more often than not, I loved my CN9-A it made me a fourtune, and was dirt cheap.

People suiciding, was a lack of consequence, also easily adjusted for.

So, all you want is slightly heavier ammunition and some extra rounds of c-bill-grinding to repair your favorite mech? Without CW R&R makes no sense at all and with CW it's still debatable.
