Other than that, no we dont yet. I'd imagine this will work to some degree when we get collisions back whether they make allowances for it or not (jumpjetting and landing on someone is pretty tricky as you need to use free view as well).

Funny thing....
I always wondered why a vehicle moving at 130 kph that crashed so hard it bounced didn't have driver fatalities.

I have been in my 2D playing RCN and crashed into the side wall in river with already damaged legs and I killed myself.

This. More than any other mech - even clan mechs - I want a Highlander.
But for the Highlander to provide maximum awesomesauce, Death From Above needs to already be in place.

Far out!
First I've heard of anyone totaling their mech from a crash. Don't get me wrong, bumps and scrapes should do next to nothing to a mech. It's a walking tank after all. But take a Jenner for example with it's cockpit sitting way out front like it is and smash it a full speed into something that doesn't move.....something should break.....right?
When they fix collisions falling may take on a new dimention.

Walked off a building and landed on a wounded Commando, killing him and getting awarded the kill

I have seen mechs dying because someone jumped or fell down on them.

My friend and I watched a guy leg himself last night. Last mech left in a Conquest map, Spider, and he is doing a decent job of keeping the points captured while they chase him. Problem was he was really bad at piloting in a way that wouldn't damage his mech. Caustic Valley has some unforgiving terrain to be cruising over in a Light.
He is running full out and I make the call on voice while spectating, "He is about to leg himself." as I seem his course will take him right over a a pipe and he doesn't seem to be slowing, jumping, or turning. Sure enough he crosses the pipe and *bzzzzt*, leg gone. That let the larger mechs he was running from close in and kill him.

It's technically more like Quake "rocket jumping" -- but it's death from above all the same

He broke the game mechanics just to kill me, the swine.
However, in the same match I squashed Wispsy's Spider like the little bug it is between me and a building, so all's fair.
