Just used all my GXP to skill sensor range module 2/2 and target decay module 2/2.
Went to mechbay, bought and installed both modules into my LRM boat.
Played a couple of games.
Multiple times enemy mechs, all within sensor range, hid behind rocks/buildings and target lock was lost within 1 second.
Does target decay module not work properly or has it become so common to power down your mech when hiding from lrms?
Advanced target decay module description in mechlab:
"Increases the amount of time a BattleMech is trackable when it leaves line of sight to 3.5 seconds."

If the situation is repeatable every match, I would recommend notifying support with details on how to reproduce this. And preferably send them a video of it in action, or lack there of.

module description only mention the loss of line of sight.
If we suppose your target fell back into ECM coverage by retreating into cover, it is normal you would lose the lock.
