I just now had an 8 player pug versus an 8 player premade team:
They were all Steiner and 5 or so in founders mechs, so I assumed we were up against 2 x 4 teams. But when I asked they said they were actually 1 x 8 team.

So, if they told the truth any mix of team sizes are getting matched. Needless to say we won the prize for the most pathetic loss in history of this game.

Edit: I get into matches fairly easy queueing solo (piloting my Craven3L - seems this mech is overpowered in combat and in matchmaking)

Since the Patch 4 mans seem to have an issue with fighting against unbalanced weights again as well.

I tried 7 times to find a match and nothing. I was also wondering if our ELO's are private as I am not finding anything in player stats.

Doesn't appear to work, I've only gotten one match since patch and I was just playing around with Hawken last night and thinking how I would get a 16 player MWO match in <10 seconds every time, but having to wait 15 minutes to get a single Hawken fight with 5 people...

Join as Assault. = no matches.....

Correct, they don't want us to have access to that information, they've said.

Its just a waist of time to even wait 4 a match now. They have been gathering data for 2 weeks. I keep dropping into caustic valley repeatedly to the point i just alt f4 it. Only seen alpine 2 times. Ill be back once its sorted out.

Had a battle where classes were not matched but actually tonnages were pretty nicely.
Assault, Heavy, 6 Mediums
vs
Assault, 3 Heavies, 2 Mediums, 2 Lights.

Nope. I tried to play nothing but a medium since the patch and need from 1-7 tries to get a match.

Queuing in 3 group was quite quick, but solo queuing is hell right now. 5 Fails in a row with minutes long searches.

EDIT: After 10 tries I've stopped trying to queue my assault for now.

And here if you don't believe me...we dropped as 4 man premade. me and a mate decided to take a DDC.
Enemy team got wiped out.

Agreed: Had a match with 3 Craven3L vs 1 (possibly 2) light mechs. Needless to say we swarmed and steamrolled the enemy mechs in our Craven3Ls.

Edit: not only the lights, but all enemy mechs were steamrolled by our Craven3L flock)

Well - Having the same problem here as everyone else. I like the concept of matchmaking, but hate the wait and increased occurances of "Failed to find match". It is about a 50/50 split. And when trying out the new treb.... well I think too many people are and it is hard to get into a match. The other thing is I have only seem the new map once! Wish it was available more so it can be explored!

This happened a little over an hour ago: Comment by a dead player in a match where 7 of my team died, and I was still alive at the end of the match. S/He called out "you are wrecking my ELO". The player was mad because the PUG group stood at one location, while I (after announcing I was doing a run north on the new Alpine map) went another. The PUG group died quickly to a well organized group. I managed to stay alive and reach the enemy base.

Well, its not so good if one team has 3 ECM Lights and the other team only one.
Needless to say which made the match :-/
