Here you can see how I have to play when i play one of my most fav Mechs: CN9-A 2ML 3 SRM6:

And this is more or less on "frozen" maps... City and Forset works slightly better, However I have not the pleasure to EVER see the Mech textures, which is a glitch I have on EVERY map.
Before you suggest all of the Tech Support you can think about, I want to spare you the pain:
I have been in touch with PGI TS in the last 1 week and a half and i have to say their support is really courteous and prompt, but unfortunately there is no solution yet.
So, at least you know it.. and think.. when you have a problem... there is someone else it has it worst

then delete the contents of the games cache folder.. load up the client and see what happens.

I mean, is not like the Cheesy Splatcat!.. it has ONLY 3 SRM6, and they SPREAD damage... OR you need to have a bit of experience firing them to get the sweet spot.
Experience = NO Cheesiness
Because at least you need to LEARN to do something.
Furthermore, CN9-A has the 3 launcher on a single location, nuke that and the mech is screwed... so.. once again, HOW is that Cheesy?
When compared to the SplatCat 6 SRM6, it has 3 less launchers and has a lighter chassis.. How in the hell is that Cheesy??

As i said is 1 week and a half I am working with PGI to solve the issue. Everything has been worked out with no result.
I pinpointed a solution but we still need to figure out WHY is giving the issue.
This glitch seems to be related to the third rocket launcher. It doesn t matter if it is LRMs or SRMs I tested both), as soon as a third launcher get added in, the glitch comes out.
If I keep the config at 2 launchers only, no graphic glitches at all.

The only proof ou need to know it is cheese is that Lowtax likes to run a group of six of them. If lowtax runs multiples of them, they are cheese.

Weird.
I used to have missing texture issues. Deleting the shader cache didn't work, neither did messing with AA or AF settings in the game or in my graphics driver.
My issue was different than yours (didn't seem to be related to weapons loadout), but what fixed it permanently for me was turning "Surface Format Optimization" off in my catalyst control center. If you have an Nvidia card, then I don't have a suggestion for that.
FYI: "Surface Format Optimization" seems to be a relatively unimportant setting that only applies to a few older dx9 titles, so turning it off shouldn't break any other games.

no, besides that, the good is also in the fact that is one of the best ways to make it public to the Mass.
I am not the only one having this issue and I might have pinpoint a possible solution or reason to it.
Others may take advantage reading the post... oh.. and I am sorry if in this high level forum, with other way important concerns, I am not debating something about ECM, or LRM OP or some other high relevant issue people has...
I do apologize for that.

Interestingly I tried your suggestion. The first drop in Frozen city Night was PERFECT! No glitched whatsoever ! Usually I had flickering environment textures and white/grey mechs.. All was good instead!
Unfortunately, the drop after in Caustic, i had the grey mechs again. So no luck...
I will monitor the Environmental texture behavior tho, because that might be fixed thru your suggestion.

Of course, if PGI ever got around to finishing the file checker and worked harder at solving the memory corruption (PGI is not getting money from me if they can't fix this nasty behavior), then we wouldn't have threads like this, where it probably isn't a video card specific problem, but a game flaw that needs to rectified ASAP.
I've gotten like "white textures" on River City on the lower city area... and I swear it wasn't like that in the first place. If I even bother contacting PGI support for any of this, it would get unresolved like the colored fog issue I was reporting to them.. because they simply have no freaking clue what is causing it and/or refuse to recognize that they need to fix these key issues ASAP before they actually add more stuff to it...

I used to see the same thing on frozen city almost every time. Stopped when i upgraded to windows 7 from xp.
What OS/video card are you using?
