Does / can the Fast Fire elite unlock help with the firespeed of MGs. Anyone able to confirm this?

There's no significant cool down on machine guns...so...there's nothing really to speed up. Fast Fire only increases the cool down rate of your weapon systems. Since MGs have virtually no cool down rate, this 5% increase is a moot point.

Short answer: no, it does not affect fire speed of MGs.

I think a programmer of the game would have to reply, as they fire pretty fast stock, I am unable to tell with the unlock.

There's no recycle speed on an MG, so if the wording is correct, it wouldn't do anything.

This is unfortunate, as that means my beautiful 1 flamer and 4 mg crit seeking Spider do not benefit from fast fire.

Perhaps this should be addressed!

MG fires 10 bullets a second, every 0,1 second 1 bullet.
5% of 0,1 are?

If they had a cooldown, you would not notice the effect.
Every 2 seconds 1 extra bullet ...
