I was pretty shocked to see "Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries" not on the list for which games we have played. Why's that missing? I already finished signing up and I guess I can't change my answer, but that was the one me and my family played the most. And for some people, maybe the only one they have played.

Just wondering if it might be a good idea to add that. But if it's too late, then disregard this, though please be sure to implement it if there are questionnaires like this in the future.

(I was hoping this game would be in the same vein as 2Mercs too... )

EDIT: As another user points out below, a "None" option should be added as well, unless it's a specific qualification to have played one before. There's nothing they can currently pick if they haven't played a previous Battletech/Mechwarrior title, but still complete their profile.

i think they just asked for the basic games, not the expension based on the same engine

MW2:Mercs was a basic game, though given the name I understand the confusion. The engine was basically the same, but the game play and setting were totally different. It's actually the game I'd most strongly recommend to someone wanting to play an MW title before beginning with MWO. It deals with a similar era and gives a good feel for the happenings in the IS before and during the clan invasion.

Not directly related to this topic, but i havent played a Mechwarrior game before, so i would like to see a "None" answer on that question, along with a "MW2 Mercenaries" answer.

Doesn't it simply allow you to not choose anything?

Also, I fully support MW2: Mercs options, because it's a separate game like people before me said, not an expansion.

You can do that, but then your beta status is going to be stuck at 96% . So thats why id like to have 'None' as an option.
