Sounds like MM just got a better balance and became more competetive as intended regardless of team composition. Is it not working as we had wanted or expected?

Yep. After umpteen patches, from the situation we had in August, where PUGs were being pit against 8-man premades, we've ended up with a situation in which...PUGs are being pitted against 8-man premades.

Congratulations, PGI. You've improved the game like Geiseric improved Rome.

From what I'm hearing, 4mans that farmed the crap out of pugs are getting some karmic justice... and I'm smiling ear to #$@#$ing ear right now... even with a 20 minute wait between fights.

Hmm, i wonder how you can tell for sure that you have been matched against an 8-man premade...

Afaik 8mans are supposed to only be matched against other 8mans.
And so far i have not fought any opposing team that looked like an 8man.

Of cause, PGI could have created a bug in their MM Phase 3 where 8mans are matched against Pugs now.
But i doubt that unless there is some sort of strong evidence...

Edit: Nevermind, have not correctly read that 4mans are meant instead of pure pugs.
But this shouldn't be possible either.

What i would appreciate if 2-4man premades would always face an opposing premade so they can't pugstomp anymore. But i guess this would stress the current waiting times for a match even more...

If during the course of the Marik Civil War we interfere with your normal play we sincerely apologize. We will usually play the game out with our restricted weight-limits and then try to match ourselves up again.

so why is there a "form 4" and "form 8"...Why not allow you to pre-made 2-8 instead?
