I'm not a forum RPer myself, but it would be nice if the moderators, once they show up in force, would to scoop up all the "Hatred of the Clans is clearly borne through ignorance and fear on the part of the freebirth scum of the Inner Sphere and their usurper overlords BLAH BLAH BLAH" and dump it into an RP board. I don't mind if people want to immerse themselves in the universe setting, but some of us don't want to have to navigate around the random in-character chatter. It'd be nice if they had a place to do that, or be told to do that.

I will let you know I know a number of people who are semi IC anytime they post and the few times they are not you will see a //RP OFF sort of thing.

I do agree I would love to see a RP board, but that will not eliminate examples like you gave.

Maybe I should clarify. I don't mind reading posts that are in-character, and I certainly don't mind a little factionalist fervor. When RPers chose to discuss out of character subjects that conflict with being in character, that's a problem. I guess I'm just tired of seeing faction rhetoric and propaganda (die freebirths!) interjecting conversations like balancing Inner Sphere and Clan technology in game. Making an RP board might not completely alleviate this, but it could help a bit.
