Maybe too much to ask so soon, but I'd DEARLY love to see some in-game footage/screenshots of some of the recently added mechs. Seems like all the videos/screens released show the first few mechs announced. Seen alot of the Hunchback,Atlas,Jenner,Catapult etc and a few screenshots of the dragon. What I'd REALLY REALLY love to see are some screenshots of say, the Cicada or Raven(Even the Awesome would be well....Awesome ) in action, maybe even an in-game video clip? *shameless plug to developers* PLEAAAAASSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! :3



Edit: OH HOW COULD I!?!? I forgot to mention the Commando and the Centurion! They're great too!

I presume the Dragon is the most recently added one, and anything else simply isn't done yet (or not complete enough to appear in promotional material). Judging from the playtest reports there are no other mechs to show us yet. Maybe the next playtest report will mention a new mech, but for now it seems there are only the five we've seen.

This close to beta you think they only have 5 mechs in game so far? That seems like a really lowball number at this stage in the game if you ask me. I'm sure that the mechs that have been announced thus far are already represented in game, PGI is just trying to keep people active on the site and draw in more uses, which is a good thing.

For the record I'd love to see more in game screen shots of different mechs too!

I'm not so sure, If theres atleast two variants for each of those 5 mechs maybe there is only that many. Plus the pictures released of other mechs are still just concepts, they could just be completed models without any animations programmed yet.

I would really like to see the Centurion as well, really any new mech shots would be killer. But I would like to see a swarm of commando's trying to bring down an awesome.

Only five mechs complete enough for promotional material and rigorous playtesting. I'm sure a lot of additional modeling and texture assets are complete, and some are probably already rigged and animations are being finessed, not to mention having to be tested individually before they can be thrown into live fire gameplay.

Yea, in retrospect I'am thinking maybe the Raven and Cicada might not be 100% done and ready for the public eye yet, but say the Centurion and Commando? Those have been announced mech for just as long as the Jenner/Hunchback/Catapult/Atlas. They were among the first group of announced mechs and we havnt seen hide nor tail of them in-game yet. My guess is that most of what weve seen so far is pretty well completed as far as programming and animation goes, theyre just releasing information piecemeal to keep us hooked. Thats not gonna stop me from grovelling shamelessly for more in-game goodness though! Bring it on devs! I'am hooked regardless!

Heck, I'd like to see the Awesome, Raven, Centurion, Commando, and the Cicada. I'm a Assault/Heavy fan, but the lights and meds tend to have pretty interesting aesthetics.

Well, thats what I was thinking too, but the Awesome, Raven and Cicada were released like...yesterday compared to the Centurion and Commando. If were gonna see any of the ones we havn't seen yet it'll probably be one of those two. It'll be nice to see the latest 3 all in one big lump but wishful thinking XD.

Not complaining, we got a new battlemech(#11, the Cataphract) to look at and announcements regarding Operation: Inception, but still no goodies showcasing the revealed mechs we havnt seen in-game shots of ; ;.

They just did. If you are looking to see all the 'mechs in a screen shot, that's up to the devs... I'm content with one screen shot a week, aren't you?

My point is that we keep seeing the SAME mechs over and over again. Yeah, different scenes, different action being shown, but its the same bunch of 4-5 mechs over and over again. I'am wondering where the in-game shots of the other revealed mechs are. That would be something nice to see.

Maybe the other mechs are still not totally finished and that's why we see mainly these 4-5 mechs for now
