GTactix Download
**UPDATE**- Has been added to the map vault, so you can download it right from the program. We are working out a few glitches so for now, you will download the older version of the pack, then use the updater to update to the latest version.
I will try keeping these updated with all available map and game types.
Enjoy...

honestly. I like both for what they are. I do find that ATC seems to work better and is easier to use, but that is if you can get past the annoying pop-up that comes up every time you change maps and start the sessions. But both are easy to get the packs. Overall, like if your using the GTatics, you can find my pack in the vault on their system now and once you download the initial pack, you need to go to the updater and update it because that is just how it was when I uploaded the pack. I have contacted the creator but unfortunately there is nothing I can do to update the one in the vault on that system.
The one on ATC, since I am hosting all the files on my private web server, I can up date that easily and the one you get form them is the current release and each patch when a new one comes out, updating is easy to do and pretty fast since the files are small, but again, that is because I am hosting all the images my self.
Overall, user ability and ease of use, goes to ATC, but GTactics has a nice feature of being able to record certain strats. Though its a nice feature, I found it not necessary because I just use the screenshot feature found on both and just take a picture of the final strat. There is a online based system like this that I have found and messed around with, but I found it to be complete garbage. I know their will be those that disagree with me, and thats fine, since that is their opinion, but I found most that say that just cant seem to figure out how to host a session, which is true, can be a bit of a pain in the arse if you don't know how to port forward and set up a static IP.
But if you do the research, and take the time to do it, it is worth it if you want to be able to do strats.
Granted, if your not looking to have people connect to you and your looking at having this so you can set up strats on your own, then it is as easy as downloading and running, starting up a session, loading the map pack you want to use and get on the way.
I hope this helps a little to help make your mind up. But it is hard for me because I like both and both do the job and each work different in their own ways. But if I am working with the guys on my clan, we us ATC.

But the grid on the older Maps is outdated.
For example: the former 3-line on Caustic Valley is now the 2-line.

I am going to release everything I have, (source files I used), along with a video tutorial on how I did everything. I will be making 3 videos,
- Video on how to get the maps and edit the maps
- How to edit for ATC
- How to edit for GTactics
With that said, for the ATC, I will host the maps for a little longer, then I may take them off my server for it cost me to keep it up and I don't like hosting allot for something that I am not working on or supporting. I have other projects that benefit from the bandwidth and space.
There seems to be a couple of people interested in taking over this project and since they contacted me about it, I will show how to modify the files and from there people can make their own and do their own thing. I am sure that they will make them public and keep this project going.

First off, this is a video tutorial on editing the maps so they have grids and the positions of the bases and what not. I go over how I was able to get them and also I go over on how to get the maps with no grids on them. Under the video will be links to the programs I used in making the video.
