Covergence Broken?

When lining up a arm mounted weapons shot 450m away a friendly mech came up next to me - causing the convergence to mess up since both arm weapons fired crisscross (the right arm fired to the left the left to right) at a pint 5m in front of my cockpit. Rangefinder still said 450m though.
I noted that happening frequently.
