It works, and pretty well, but I gave it up to try and use the Treb for it's intended role as fast LRM support.

Holy thread revival batman!

You could do that same build with the 5N, the main perk of the 3C is its speed ability.

I now use this 3C. At 139 kph its quite the speedy medium mech.!

I have only played 2 games in it so far. First game 558 dmg 3 kills 6 assists; I hunted down a cicada and two jennys, for which I had to SLOW down to keep in thier rear lol. 2nd game ~400 dmg 4 kills 6 assists; Took out a stalker, k2, flame and another treb (7M it think).

This is the BEST distration mech ever IMO! I have had mechs run away for simply being blinded and shaken so much they could not target me. Just keep moving and flaming thier cockpit, chian the stks and keep smacking them with small lasers, they won't be able to see what the heck is going on. If you matched up with an A1 Splat who knew how to use thier jets properly you would be near invincible together.

Big weakness would be 3L's or 2D's, so be wary of them.

I love your build LOL, I prefer 4x MLs or 2x SLs, 2xMLs, with 2 streaks. Flaming cockpits sounds like a good change up though thanks for the idea!

I'm tempted to try a 3C with: 2 ERLL (LA, RA) and an Artemis LRM 15 (RT). XL 300, Endo, FF, 11 DHS, max armor and an AMS. Top speed 106.9. Looks fun to me.

The two Trebuchet's I am playing with atm.
7K, Guass Rifle 3t ammo and 2 X ML, stock engine and a touch more protection. It's fun, but hardly ground breaking.
7M, 3 X ERLL 280 XL Engine with a couple extra Double HS and JJ's. Now this is fun, hit's for good damage and great for aimed shots.

The 3C I just can't make work for myself, added Tag and moved ammo around etc. Just doesn't seem to hit hard enough and with pugs you can't count on target locks/narc's.
