Emp Vs. Ecm Counter Mode

The patch notes make it sound like PPCs are supposed to disrupt ECM whether it's set to 'counter' or 'disrupt.' Is that right? I was looking forward to my RVN-3L with ER PPC (and no streaks) having better odds against streakmandos, but I noticed last night that pegging a streakmando with my ER PPC didn't seem to restore my ECM/break his lock.

But maybe I didn't hit him after all, so I ask you, forums: are PPCs supposed to disrupt ECM in counter mode, and if so, are they actually doing that?

It seems like you discovered the answer already by yourself. The PPC kills ecm in distrupt mode, not in counter mode.

i hope they chane it to distrupt both
