I just saw the note about putting the old matchmaker back online right around 6:30 PM yesterday. I played at 8 PM. I guess my new matchmaking experience was just good luck with the old matchmaker. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and for an hour last night I was in a wonderful delusional bliss. I'll have to hedge my optimism tonight...

I only had time to try 6 quick PUG games last night but they went brilliantly. My games were well matched where at most 4 lived on victorious team. Had only one failure to find a match and it was pretty quick. My mechs released from completed matches instantaneously. The high point for me was the matchmaking as steam rolls were (for my small set of games) a thing of the past.
My sympathies for all those who had a poor experience as I look to be in a minority but I just wanted to get a positive voice in here. I had a wonderful time! Still haven't experienced Alpine Peaks yet....
Only down was the new "targeted" voice. It was yammering constantly and I just don't care. Of course I am being targeted... It is war!
